He is also a trained General Practitioner and Gynaecologist.

He has practiced in Ireland and the United States, in General Practice, and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

He offers a holistic alternative in the treatment of couples according to the principles of Naprotechnology and Fertilitycare, aimed at couples experiencing fertility problems and recurrent miscarriage.
